Core to the Main Street Hospitality mission is our involvement in and commitment to the communities that we serve.  We build strong relationships with creative, cultural and business leaders where each of our hotels our located.  We engage in community affairs and understand deeply the economic dynamics of the places that we work. We believe that it is important to play a role in shaping these communities for the benefit of partners, residents and visitors.  Our commitment can best be noted based on our actions noted below.

“Main Street turned an underperforming property into a thriving operation that is connected to The College and supports our mission. The results, both financial and relational, have been significant.”

Fred Puddester, Vice President of Finance and Administration, Williams College

What We Do

Each member of our leadership team serves on a local or regional board(s).
We partner closely with cultural and business organizations to leverage our collective strengths.
We work with local artisans and artists to integrate their work into our hotel spaces.
Our chefs partner with local and regional farmers and producers to source our ingredients.
We provide culinary mentorship to at risk kids through the Railroad Street Youth Project.
We provide resources to countless organizations in our communities in the areas of human services,
education, health and wellness, and preservation.

Our marketing partnerships include collaborative promotional strategies and hospitality packages for visitors. We develop itineraries that bring guests to our hotels but also out into the community. By working together, we all benefit.
